Horror Movie ‘Opus,’ Starring Ayo Edebiri and John Malkovich, Reveals New Trailer

A24 has just dropped the trailer for its latest horror film, Opus. The movie follows a young writer, portrayed by Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri, known for The Bear. Her character is invited to the secluded home of a mysterious pop star played by John Malkovich.
Once there, she becomes trapped in a terrifying situation surrounded by the pop star’s cult-like fans, as sinister events start to unfold.
The cast is packed with talent. Alongside Edebiri and Malkovich, we’ll see Juliette Lewis, Murray Bartlett, Amber Midthunder, and Tony Hale. Other cast members include Tatanka Means, Young Mazino, Tamera Tomakili, and Stephanie Suganami.
Opus marks the feature debut of writer-director Mark Anthony Green. Green, who previously made the short film Trapeze, U.S.A and has a background at GQ magazine, takes the helm for this chilling story. The film will make its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
