Nosferatu Director to Helm Werewolf Movie for Next Project, Sets Familiar Release Date
In recent weeks, the vampire movie Nosferatu shined with success while the werewolf film Wolf Man crashed and burned. Now, the director of the former will get his own chance to take a crack at finding new success with werewolf movies on the big screen.
Per Deadline, Nosferatu director Robert Eggers will team back up with Focus Features for his next feature film. He will be helming Werwulf, a werewolf movie he co-wrote with Sjón (The Northman). The film has also been dated for a release in North American theaters on Christmas Day in 2026. Nosferatu also happened to have a Christmas release, which turned out to be successful for the horror film, despite its arrival on such a festive holiday.

Nosferatu's Nicholas Hoult also stars in another underrated Dracula-related flick starring Nic Cage.
