‘Bob Trevino Likes It’ Trailer: Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo Are Unlikely Pals in Heartbreaking Dramedy About Healing Family Wounds

Barbie Ferreira may not be returning to “Euphoria,” but the actress is making her feature presence known with indie dramedy “Bob Trevino Likes It.”
The film, which debuted at SXSW 2024, stars Ferreira as a struggling caretaker who tries to cope with her absent father. While Ferreira has had roles in “Unpregnant” and “Nope,” it is “Bob” that puts Ferreira on the map as one to watch — and she even executive produces it along with her co-star and onscreen surrogate dad John Leguizamo.
Tracie Laymon writes and directs the semi-autobiographical feature, which is inspired by the true friendship of her befriending a stranger in real life while looking for her father online.
