Charli Xcx to Produce and Star in A24 Movie The Moment

Brat summer is long over, but Charli Xcx’s acting era has only just begun. The pop star has confirmed a movie with A24, based on an idea of her own, which she’ll be starring in and producing. The film’s plot details are still under wraps, but it’s confirmed to be titled The Moment.

The movie will mark the first endeavor for her recently formed production company, Studio365, and serve as the feature directorial debut for Scottish photographer and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri. The screenplay was co-written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, while Brat co-producer A.G. Cook will compose the score.
