From family jewels to pervy aliens, Dandadan has its fair share of wacky moments. But it gets weirder and creepier as the plot progresses. The outlandish shonen series by Yukinobu Tatsu is a total banger in its exploration of themes.

Be it family, relationships, friendships, or heartbreak, it is wholesome with a sprinkle of old-school romance. Aside from that, the series may have signaled a concerning situation according to fans.

In particular, fans have associated daddy issues with Aira’s crush on Okarun. The pink-haired queen bee and her antics may be annoying, but there is a deeper meaning to it. And while it seems excessive, the theory might be partly plausible.

Additionally, it also circles back to themes of family and soul bonds in the series. In his writing of family dynamics though, Yukinobu Tatsu may have left certain loose ends.
