Practical Magic 2 Eyes Oscar-Winning Filmmaker to Direct, Sandra Bullock & Nicole Kidman Set to Return
Warner Bros' long-awaited Practical Magic sequel is reportedly in talks to secure an Oscar-winning filmmaker to lead the project. Susanne Bier is in negotiations with the studio for the film.
According to Deadline, a deal between Warner Bros and Bier hasn't been finalized yet. Bier, a Danish filmmaker, has directed Sandra Bullock before in 2018's Bird Box. Bier is the first female director to collectively receive an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, a Primetime Emmy Award and a European Film Award. Most recently, she directed Netflix's mystery drama miniseries The Perfect Couple, which premiered on Sept. 5, 2024.
