“It was just too cold”: We Need to Thank Aleks Le for Saving ‘Solo Leveling’ from Being an Unfaithful and Boring Adaptation

The battle between the sub and the dub versions is one of the longest ongoing duels in the history of anime. While this battle has been mostly won by the sub-version, there are a few instances where the dub version has prevailed. Recently, it was seen in the second episode of the Solo Leveling anime series Season 2, “Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow.“

While the sub version tries its best to adapt the entirety of the manhwa into the anime’s story, it recently ignored a minor detail that was quite significant for Sung Jinwoo’s character. And although the sub version overlooked it, the dub version didn’t give up on that opportunity and made sure to include it in the episode, which in turn earned all the praise and appreciation.
