Naomi Ackie Wants to Return to ‘Star Wars’ as a Jedi

Naomi Ackie has made it clear she would be excited to return to Star Wars and reprise her role as Jannah in the upcoming New Jedi Order movie. In an interview at Sundance for her film Sorry, Baby, Ackie responded positively when asked about the possibility of coming back to Star Wars.
Though she kept it lighthearted, her enthusiasm was clear. She jokingly said, ‘Star Wars, get it together! If they give me a call, we’ll see if I’m free.’ In The Rise of Skywalker, Ackie’s character, Jannah, was a former stormtrooper who became the leader of a group that had hidden on the moon of Kef Bir.
The film hinted at a possible connection between her and Lando, suggesting she might be his daughter, though that idea has since been downplayed. More importantly, Jannah was shown to possibly have Force abilities, making her a strong candidate...
