Morgan Freeman's 24-Year-Old Alex Cross Thriller Hits Paramount+ Next Month
Image
Morgan Freeman's 2001 Alex Cross thriller will have a new streaming home next month. Along Came a Spider arrives on Paramount+ on Feb. 1.

A sequel to 1997's Kiss the Girls, Along Came a Spider saw Freeman reprise his role as detective Alex Cross alongside Jay O. Sanders as FBI agent Kyle Craig. The film was adapted from James Patterson's 1993 novel of the same name but changed key plot points. In the movie, forensic psychologist and author Alex Cross's retirement from the police force is short-lived when the daughter of a U.S. senator is kidnapped from her private school. As Cross digs deeper into the girl's disappearance, he learns there are many more layers to the kidnapping than he once thought.
