Gracie Abrams Calls Fan’s Petition To Replace Her Tour Opener Dora Jar ‘Wildly Uncool & Bizarre’
A fan of the singer Gracie Abrams created a petition to replace her tour opening act, Dora Jar.
The fan criticized Jar’s selection for Abrams’ Secret of Us tour, announced on Jan. 28. She called her songs “slow-paced” and demanded an “upbeat opening act.”
Abrams slammed the petition, which has since been deleted. The singer described it as “wildly uncool and bizarre” underneath a Stereogum post, showing her support for Jar.
“So wildly uncool and bizarre and also just does not remotely add up,” Adams wrote in the post. “I’ve only seen everyone’s total excitement, and I couldn’t be luckier or prouder to share a stage with this talented wonder. Stream everything that she’s ever made whether or not you’re coming to the show.”
