Dawes is paying tribute to Los Angeles after the devastating fires.
The L.A.-based rock band performed a cover of Randy Newman‘s classic song “I Love L.A.” as they opened the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 2) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The brothers, Taylor and Griffin, were both affected by the fires with Taylor and wife Mandy Moore‘s home was severely damaged while Griffin‘s entire home burned down.
Taylor and Griffin were joined by their wives Mandy and Kit at the shows.
The Grammys telecast is airing on CBS this year and you can also stream the show live on Paramount+. Comedian Trevor Noah is returning to host the ceremony for the fifth consecutive year.
