Christopher Paolini Says 'Eragon' Remake Has Not Been Scrapped

Having previously hit the big screen as a much-derided movie, Christopher Paolini’s The Inheritance Cycle was said to be getting a second shot as a Disney+ TV series. However, that was back in 2022, and there has been no further word on the project, leading many to believe that it has been quietly scrapped. Now, Paolini has given an update that is both good and bad news for fans of the first book, Eragon.
Disney seemingly responded to many calls from fans of The Inheritance Cycle, who wanted the franchise to get another chance to do its story right following the success of the Percy Jackson series on Disney+.
