‘Code Geass’ Defied All Odds to Make Suzaku the Anime’s Best Redeemed Character

Redeeming a villain is one of the most subjective steps in any anime or manga series, and Code Geass might be the only one that managed to do it in the most perfect way possible. Code Geass is one of the greatest anime series of all time, and much of the credit for it goes to the variety of characters who add more substance to the story one way or the other.

Among these characters, the one who is probably the most hated is Suzaku, the best friend of the protagonist of the series, Lelouch vi Britannia. His acts of selfishness and his complex personality made him one of the worst villains in the history of Code Geass.
