911: Lone Star showrunner teases the potential spin-off
911: Lone Star’s showrunner is speaking up about the possible spin-off idea that could have a different tone than the main series!
911: Lone Star fans are still let down that the series is ending after five seasons. It did go out on a high note for the characters: Tommy recovered from her cancer, Judd became the new captain, Marjan was pregnant, Tk and Carlos had adopted their foster son with Tk taking a break from the job, Mateo’s citizenship was fast-tracked and Owen had become New York City’s Fire Chief.
A 911 spin-off is in the works
While fans were still hoping for at least one more year, it was a good way to wrap the series up. This won’t be the end of the 911 world, as plans are underway for another spin-off. We don’t know specifics yet but speaking to TV Insider, showrunner Rashad Raisani shared some hints.
