‘Wicked’, ‘Nosferatu’ & ‘Conclave’ Take Film Prizes At Costume Designers Guild Awards: Full Winners List

Nosferatu, Wicked and Conclave took the top film prizes at the 27th Costume Designers Guild Awards, which were handed out Thursday night at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. See the full winners list below.

Nosferatu costume designer Linda Muir won for Excellence in Period Film, Wicked’s Paul Tazewell took the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film prize, and Conclave‘s Lisy Christl went home with the Contemporary Film trophy. All three also are up for Best Costume Design at the Academy Awards next month. Also vying for the Oscar are A Complete Unknown (Arianne Phillips) and Cdga nominee Gladiator II (Janty Yates and Dave Crossman).

Since the guild launched its awards show in 1999, the Academy Award for Costume Design has gone to a period film every year but three, with only Mad Max: Fury Road (2016), Black Panther (2019) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2023) bucking the trend. Poor Things continued that run last year,...
