FX’s English Teacher Renewed for a Second Season
FX’s English Teacher, the critically acclaimed comedy series created by Brian Jordan Alvarez, has been renewed for a second season, it was announced today by Nick Grad, President, FX Entertainment. The 10-episode second season will premiere in 2025.
“English Teacher was one of the most critically acclaimed new shows of 2024 and we are grateful to the producers, writers, cast, directors and crew for the show’s creative excellence,” said Grad. “We look forward to the new season.”
English Teacher‘s first season has received three Critics Choice Awards nominations, including Best Comedy Series, and four nominations for the Film Independent Spirit Awards, including Best New Scripted Series. The show has also received two Writers Guild Award nominations for New Series and Episodic Comedy.
