James Franco and Seth Rogen's bromance was the stuff of modern Hollywood legend — producing comedy hits like Pineapple Express, The Interview, This Is The End, and more — until it wasn't. The duo's friendship spawned a series of hit movies after it was borne out of the cult classic television series Freaks and Geeks (in which they both starred for its gone-too-soon single season), but all the good years weren't enough to keep their friendship alive after a series of allegations regarding Franco's inappropriate sexual relationships with his students came to light.

And now, in a new interview with Esquire to promote Rogen's new AppleTV+ comedy series, The Studio, the multi-hyphenate is sharing his thoughts on the friendship breakup heard 'round the world. And it's not too surprising — at least to this particular writer — that Rogen is staying decidedly mum on the subject.
