In Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 3 titled High Sparrow, we saw Aidan Gillen’s Littlefinger accompanying Sophie Turner’s Sansa to Winterfell in hopes of giving her to the Boltons. His plan to marry her off to Ramsay will legitimize the Bolton’s hold on the North, subsequently forging his own alliance with the house.
