The years since have seen our beloved Hollywood Chris enjoy a Themysciran romance, play an Outlaw King, journey to Baldur's Gate, and even sling a web or two in the Spider-Verse, but never return to the Lone Star state. Until now. Per Variety's reporting, the Don't Worry Darling star has signed on to lead Nowhere Fast, an original Southern crime thriller from Fargo creator Noah Hawley.

We know very little about what Hawley's cooking up at this point, with casting on the movie only just underway and the writer-director presumably still pretty fresh from post-production on his upcoming Alien prequel series, Alien: Earth.
