In 2022, filmmakers Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou, aka the duo sometimes known RackaRacka took the horror world by storm with their A24 supernatural horror “Talk To Me,” which introduced most audiences to actress Sophie Wilde and impressed many a legendary filmmaker including Peter Jackson. That film did so well—$92.2 million off a $4.5 million budget at the global box office and surpassed “Hereditary” as A24’s highest-grossing horror film domestically— that A24 quickly snatched them up for their next film, “Bring Her Back.”
