‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Director Joseph Kosinski & Jerry Bruckheimer’s UFO Conspiracy Thriller Sparks Bidding War
It feels like a lifetime ago but there had been some questions about whether audiences would embrace a “Top Gun” sequel many decades after the original. However, the combination of mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer and action star Tom Cruise always felt like a winner, when director Joseph Kosinski joined the project it really kicked into gear and would go on to earn a massive $1.5 billion at the global box office.
