’Pacific Drive’ Earns One Million Units Sold, Fourth Dlc Coming Soon
Seven months after reaching 600,000 in sales, Ironwood Studios’ Pacific Drive has claimed the lofty one million units sold milestone. Not bad for an indie developer which has a team of less than 20 staff. In addition, the team has also teased a new Dlc for Pacific Drive, referring to it as the “most substantial update” yet.
Since launching on February 22, 2024, Pacific Drive has received widespread acclaim from critics (including our own Luiz), and even had its rights acquired to develop a TV show by James Wan. That’s not to mention the game’s multiple awards and nominations. That includes four BAFTA longlist nods, a Game Developers Choice nomination for Best Debut and an Igf Awards nomination for Excellence in Design.
It’s also helped that Ironwood Studios has supported the title with three free content updates and cosmetic Dlc packs, along with the aforementioned fourth Dlc, which is set to launch “soon.
