Without the setup for emotional impacts, the upcoming arcs will fall short when it comes to the effect or even when it comes to narrative importance. The first season of Castlevania: Nocturne was facing heavy comparisons to the original Castlevania anime.
Many fans found it underwhelming when compared to the mystery and intrigue-filled world that they were familiar with. But Castlevania: Nocturne did not stop there and came out with a second season that did wonders.
Season 2 was a redemption arc for Castlevania: Nocturne
Season 2 of Castlevania: Nocturne completely turned things around. Not only did it succeed in delivering stunning animation, thrilling fights packed with action, and stronger character development arcs.
