Neon Genesis Evangelion Extended Reality Game in the Works for 2026

Details are light at the moment, but developer Pixelity Inc. revealed that it is officially working on a Neon Genesis Evangelion extended reality game. The licensed project is currently planned as a trilogy based on the original 26-episode TV anime, the first part of which is eyeing a 2026 release. Here's what we know so far: Players will follow the events of the series as an original character. They'll be tasked with completing quests and battling enemies as they progress through key events from the anime. There will be "interactive and cooperative gameplay with familiar characters" throughout the action-adventure.
