Dragon Ball Daima Actually Let Vegeta Beat The Main Villain After 37 Years... Only to Undo it Immediately

The following contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima Episode 19, "Betrayal".
When viewed in a vacuum, Dragon Ball Daima has been quite kind to Vegeta. The Saiyan Prince had some amazing fights, showed off a brand new transformation, and even proved he’s quite the mathematician in his final test against Tamagami 2. These are all great accomplishments, but of course, Vegeta’s achievements only matter insofar as how they measure up to Goku’s own most impressive feats. To that end, Dragon Ball Daima refused to give Vegeta the respect he deserved right up until the very end.
Dragon Ball Daima Episode 19, “Betrayal”, wasn’t the series finale, but it was unfortunately the finale for Vegeta.
