Let’s be honest, when Jeff Kaplan announced his departure from Activision Blizzard, everyone was shocked. His decision to leave the company immediately rang the bells for Overwatch 2, but Kaplan assured everyone that Aaron Keller was the man for the job.

While we all love Kaplan for his work as a lead designer and game director in Overwatch 2, he was hired by Blizzard after being noted for his work for the EverQuest community. Without him, the company wouldn’t have become the gaming giant it is today. However, Kaplan wasn’t even familiar with Blizzard before joining its ranks.
