Netflix starts rolling out latest price rises in the UK

Netflix price packages in the UK are rising by as much as 20%, and customers are being given the news as emails go out.

As had been noted at the start of the month, streaming giant Netflix is putting its prices up in the UK, and emails have started going out to customers to explain the latest increase.

The price rises hadn’t been much of a surprise, and Netflix last raised them over here back in October 2023. Still, it’s making it for it with some above inflation hikes. The current UK rate of inflation sits at 3%, for the standard Netflix subscription with adverts is moving from £4.99 a month to £5.99 a month. That’s a 20% jump.

The most popular Netflix plan, the standard package without adverts, has now gone from £10.99 to £12.99, an 18% rise. The premium package is going from £17.99 to £18.99, an increase of 5.5%.
