Star Trek: Section 31 Ranks in Top 10 Despite Awful Reviews

Star Trekfans are curious about the very first streaming film in the franchise, Paramount+’s Star Trek: Section 31.
Per Trek Movie, the film, starring Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh, has ranked in the Nielsen Top 10 for the week of Jan. 20 to Jan. 26, 2025. The story focuses on the black-ops division of Starfleet, known as Section 31, which was first introduced in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in the 1990s. The streaming movie premiered on Jan. 24, and for the first week, held the number eight spot with 170 million minutes streamed.
