Paul Simon Will Return To The Stage For A ‘Quiet Celebration Tour’ – Setlist, Dates & Ticket Info
Paul Simon, 83, has announced he will be coming out of retirement to perform live once again.
Simon performed what was expected to be his final show in 2018, ending his farewell tour, which came following Simon’s announcement that he was suffering from significant hearing loss. He said at the time, “Quite suddenly, I lost most of the hearing in my left ear and nobody has an explanation for it…So everything became more difficult…”
However, much to the public’s surprise, Simon made a public reappearance on Feb. 16 to open the Saturday Night Live 50 Celebration. Alongside Sabrina Carpenter, he performed a rendition of his classic song “Homeward Bound.”
On Feb. 18, Simon announced that he would be going on a “Quiet Celebration Tour” throughout the spring and summer of this year.
