Conan O’Brien is taking advice about presenting the 2025 Oscars from another seasoned host.
The 61-year-old comedian is set to host the 97th Annual Academy Awards. When he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday (February 25), he revealed that Jimmy, who has hosted the Oscars four times, gave him valuable insight about the experience.

“One of the first calls I got after I agreed to host the Oscars was from Jimmy Kimmel,” Conan said.
Conan also revealed that he met Jimmy and his wife, Molly McNearney, for dinner to discuss hosting the Oscars, as Molly produced the 2024 Academy Awards.
“You and Molly could not be more gracious. You gave me all these great tips,” Conan said to Jimmy.
The 97th Annual Academy Awards will air Sunday (March 2).
