Sunset Blvd., director Jamie Lloyd’s reimagined production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical with the critically acclaimed Nicole Scherzinger as Norma Desmond, will play its final Broadway performance on July 13.

The announcement was made this afternoon on Instagram. Scherzinger had previously indicated that she would stay with the show for nine months. Previews began September 28, 2024, and opening night was on October 20.

A rep for the show said the production had been expected to close July 6, but was extended a week to the July 13 date. At the closing, the production’s four lead actors – Scherzinger, Tom Francis, Grace Hodgett Young and David Thaxton – will have been with the show for 18 months, since its opening on London’s West End in winter of 2023.
