'Watcher' with 'Longlegs' Maika Monroe is Currently Climbing the Netflix Charts
Longlegs star Maika Monroe's 2022 thriller is climbing up the Netflix charts. Watcher features Monroe as Julia as she navigates her new life in a foreign land. The film, directed by Chloe Okuno (Let the Right One In TV series) from a script by Okuno and Zack Ford, currently sits at number three on the Netflix chart in the United States.
The film follows Julia and her husband Francis (Karl Glusman), as they move back to his homeland of Bucharest, Romania in Eastern Europe, thanks to a job promotion. She is often left alone as Francis is constantly working, and before long, Julia believes a man living in the building across the street, played by Burn Gorman (The Dark Knight Rises), might be watching and stalking her.
