‘Dragon Ball Daima’ Singlehandly Ruined Its Carefully Picked Up Reputation Because of an Underwhelming Finale
Don’t get it wrong, the hype was indeed Real with Dragon Ball Daima. After all, it was Akira Toriyama’s last original work that he had fully worked on, and it also fulfilled a lot of long-standing desires the fans wished to see from this franchise.

Everything seemed perfect until the end, we even got to see some of the most epic transformations, with a fresh modern art style and Toriyama’s original touch. Finally, with Daima, it felt like Dragon Ball‘s reputation would be back on the board again and Toriyama would knock it out of the park one last time.
But, unfortunately, for several different reasons, it just didn’t quite live up to the expectations at the very end.
Where did Daima go wrong that it made the entire finale feel wasted? Goku’s SSJ4 transformation...
