Hector, who played Geralt of Rivia's faithful horse Roach in the second and third seasons of The Witcher, has died. That's according to Juhászteam, Hungary's leading film horse team.

According to Redanian Intelligence, Hector was only 12, which is young for a horse. Hector actually played the second Roach on the show. The first Roach was played by different horse; that's him with Cavill in the image at the top of this post. But that first Roach died in the second season, to be replaced at the end of the season with a new Roach played by Hector. Here's Hector with Cavill below:

Hector's life was cut short, but at least it was full.

At the end of season 3, Geralt set out on a perilous journey to track down his charge Ciri, who had warped all the way across the map.
