Dennis Quaid is transforming into a haunting serial killer for the true crime series “Happy Face.” In the upcoming Paramount+ series, the actor portrays real-life murderer Keith Jesperson, also known as the Happy Face Killer. “Impeachment” actress Annaleigh Ashford stars as Jesperson’s daughter Melissa Reed Aka Melissa G. Moore, who is forced to confront the carnage caused by her father during the trial of another alleged killer.

At 15, Moore discovered that her beloved father was the prolific serial killer known as Happy Face. As an adult, she has changed her name and guarded her secret while her father has been serving life in prison. The official synopsis for the series reads: “After decades of no contact, Keith forces his way back into his daughter’s life. In a race against the clock, Melissa must find out if an innocent man is going to be put to death for a crime her father committed.
