Outlander’s Sam Heughan Says ‘Thank You, Jamie’ as He Puts Last Touch on the Series Finale — Watch

Outlander star Sam Heughan announced Tuesday that he’s fulfilled his final duties playing James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser. You might’ve thought that happened when the Starz series announced that filming had wrapped in September. Or when some of the cast had to go back later for reshoots. But nope: As Heughan says in the video below, he’s now performed “the last Adr” — or re-recording of dialogue that might not have been captured cleanly during filming — “on Outlander completed, on the Universal lot.”
