Steve Carell Joins Ensemble Cast of Succession Creator's HBO Movie

The Office star Steve Carell has officially joined the cast of Jesse Armstrong's upcoming movie for HBO, starring alongside an ensemble cast filled with heavy hitters.
Per Variety, Carell will star alongside Jason Schwartzman (Asteroid City), Ramy Youssef (Poor Things) and Cory Michael Smith (Saturday Night) in Armstrong's untitled film for HBO, which is expected to begin filming this month in Utah. Armstrong served as executive producer and showrunner of HBO's Emmy-winning juggernaut Succession, which concluded its run back in 2023. The untitled film follows " a group of billionaire friends who get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis." His upcoming untitled film for HBO serves as his feature directorial debut.
