Grand Blue Season 2 Reveals July 7 Release Date & Opening Theme Song Artist
The official website of Grand Blue announced that the anime’s second season will be released on July 7, 2025.
Returning to perform the opening theme is Japanese reggae group Shonan no Kaze, known for their work on the first season’s opening song, Grand Blue.
This time, they will be joined by the dance vocal unit Atarashii Gakko! for the new theme song, Seishun Towa (Eternal Youth).
Season 2 will continue the story after Iori completes a diving course in Okinawa. The plot kicks off when Iori returns home and receives a letter from his younger sister, Shiori.
Zero-g, the studio behind Season 1, will return for Season 2, this time teaming up with Liber.
Shinji Takamatsu will reprise his role as director, scriptwriter, and sound director, with Hideoki Kusama serving as the character designer and chief animation director.
