‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ to End With Season 3 at Amazon

“The Summer I Turned Pretty” is now to set to end with its upcoming third season at Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon made the final season announcement on Friday. It was previously announced that the show would be back for Season 3 but it was not known that it would be the last season until now. Per Amazon, the final season will debut in July but no exact premiere date has been set at the time of this publishing. It will consist of 11 episodes.
The move is not altogether unexpected, as the show is based on the Jenny Han book trilogy of the same name, with each season corresponding to one book in the trilogy. The show originally debuted in 2022, with Season 2 dropping in 2023.
