Who Do you Trust?: Marie Kreutzer Takes a Walk on the Dark Side in “Gentle Monster”
She rose to major prominence when she was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard section with 2022’s Corsage (read review), and now we learn that Austrian filmmaker Marie Kreutzer has been piecing together her next directing gig with Gentle Monster. Produced by Corsage producers Alexander Glehr and Johanna Scherz, we were clued in by a small mention here about the production landing some national coin. Laurence Rupp (Veni Vidi Vici) and Jella Haase (Berlin Alexanderplatz) have been cast for what will likely be a quartet. Production could be lined up soon for a 2026 drop.…...
