The current Gpu landscape is dominated by one player – Nvidia, which holds a majority in its Gpu shares across the PC user base, and for good reason. Most Nvidia GPUs offer decent value for money with unmatched performance and niceties such as ray tracing and Dlss.

It’s only recently that Amd and Intel have managed to catch up and pose a serious threat to team green. However, a recent California startup named Bolt Graphics has claimed to have created a new breed of Gpu that is 10 times as powerful as the Nvidia Rtx 5090 – which could bring about some serious competition to Nvidia, in the high end market.

The startup from Sunnyvale, California has recently announced a new line of GPUs, named Zeus, which is based on the open source Risc-V Isa platform.
