Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki’s 1997 anime film Princess Mononoke returns to cinemas in a new way later this month. Gkids announced plans to screen the new 4K restoration, which Ghibli’s own Atsushi Okui oversaw, exclusively in IMAX in North America. Screenings kick off in the United States and Canada on March 26 as part of an ongoing celebration of Ghibli’s 40th anniversary. There will be both Japanese language screenings with English subtitles and English dub screenings.
