Village Roadshow’s Alix Jaffe Joins Miramax as Television President

Village Roadshow’s Alix Jaffe is joining Miramax as the studio’s new president of television on March 31.
Jaffe, who will report directly to Miramax CEO Jonathan Glickman, will be responsible for overseeing the company’s teams in Los Angeles, London and Doha, Qatar. Senior vice president Mirsada Abdool Raman will report to Jaffe.
“I’m thrilled to join Jon and the incredible team at Miramax,” Jaffe said in a Tuesday statement. “I have long admired their rich catalog and look forward to creating bold new shows, developing fresh original content and telling stories that push boundaries and resonate with audiences around the world.”
Jaffe brings over two decades of experience in TV development and production, most recently serving as Village Roadshow Entertainment Group’s executive vice president of television.
