Tom Cavanagh cemented himself as one of the key elements in The Flash’s success throughout its 9-season run. Now, the actor is making his way to the CBS procedural, FBI, as a major character’s spouse.

Per TV Line, Cavanagh has been cast as Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille’s husband, Phillip. Isobel Castille is played by Alana de la Garza, who is a crime procedural veteran, having appeared in four seasons of Law & Order as well as its spinoffs like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as CSI: Miamias Horatio Caine’s wife. Fans, and even some of the show’s cast, didn’t know that her character had a husband, so the casting news came as a big surprise to all.
