Following her passing on January 30th this year, Decca Records has announced a posthumous Marianne Faithfull EP titled, Burning Moonlight, arriving on June 6th.

The EP is comprised of four new songs, all of which were inspired by Faithfull’s early-career output in the mid-1960s. The release was originally set to be included as a part of Record Store Day 2025 in February, but was postponed after her death. Now, at the request of her family, Burning Moonlight will arrive as an extension and celebration of Faithfull’s catalogue.
