“Greatest Experience Of Watching A Film In Years”: Sinners Gets Early Review From Spike Lee, And He Can’t Believe What He Just Saw

Spike Lee offers his awestruck reaction to Sinners. Directed by Black Panther and Creed helmer Ryan Coogler, Sinners is an upcoming supernatural period piece about two brothers who return to their hometown and discover a horror afoot. Sinners features a leading cast including Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Jack O'Connell, Lola Kirke, Delroy Lindo, and Theodus Crane. After some release date shuffling with Bong Joon Ho's Mickey 17, Coogler's film is now set to hit theaters on Friday, April 18.
