The Golden Bachelorette runner-up Guy Gansert looked back at his role on the long-running soap opera General Hospital, amid signs that he might be the star of The Golden Bachelor season 2. Guy, 66, recently retired from his job as an ER doctor in Reno, Nevada, and jumped at the chance to make an appearance on General Hospital after his time in The Golden Bachelorette season 1. He played Jeffrey Beckett, a wildlife journalist who, like Guy, used to be an ER doctor. Guy shared scenes with powerhouse actresses Cynthia Watros as Nina Reeves and Maura West as Ava Jerome.
