IFC Films And Shudder Aquire ‘Forbidden Fruits’ Starring Lili Reinhart, Lola Tung, Victoria Pedretti, Alexandra Shipp And Emma Chamberlain

Exclusive: IFC Films and AMC Networks’ horror streamer Shudder have acquired the U.S. and Canadian rights to Meredith Alloway’s feature debut Forbidden Fruits, co-written by Alloway and Lily Houghton.
The film is adapted from Houghton’s play Of the Women Came the Beginning of Sin, and Through Her We All Die, and is produced by Mason Novick, Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body), Trent Hubbard, and Mary Anne Waterhouse.
Forbidden Fruits will star Lili Reinhart (Hustlers), Lola Tung (The Summer I Turned Pretty), Victoria Pedretti (You), Alexandra Shipp (Barbie) and Emma Chamberlain in her debut performance. IFC Films plan to release the film, which is currently in production, theatrically in 2026.
