Amy Carlson’s exit from Blue Bloods might have been less than adequate for fans, and it seems that Carlson herself also wishes that things could have been a little more different. Amy Carlson’s Linda Reagan was an integral part of Blue Bloods for almost seven seasons, before deciding to not renew her contract so that she may move on to better projects.

However, Carlson revealed that she had one regret about her exit from the show, the kind that made it impossible for her to return in later episodes. Turns out, as the actress decided to not renew her contract, the show decided to kill her off-screen, which is not something that the actress actually saw coming.
