Snow White may have gained several positive comments immediately following its premiere, but it looks like many others have been saving their own poison apples for the film’s Rotten Tomatoes debut. Ahead of this weekend’s worldwide release, the troubled Disney live-action remake has landed itself a “rotten to the core” rating on the review website.

Snow White received a muted premiere in Hollywood earlier this week due to fears that outside events - namely the political opinions of its lead stars and the ongoing controversy around the film's CGI dwarfs - could overshadow the movie and lead to a lot of negative press.
